Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered into a search tool is sent to the independent provider that operates that tool so it can process the request and return its own results. We do not maintain a separate log or database of the search terms entered through our site.
Messages and Contact Submissions
When you email us, we retain the message to respond to it. It is kept within our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
Like most websites, our servers can receive technical information when a page is requested, including:
- The IP address associated with the device making the request
- Your browser type and version
- The device type and operating system reported by the browser
- Pages viewed and the time spent on them
- The referring site, when one is supplied
- The date and time of each page view
Cookies and Analytics
We may use cookies, which are small files stored by a browser, to understand site traffic and performance. Analytics services can help us review aggregate use of the pages. You can block cookies through browser settings, although doing so may affect how some parts of the site function.
What We Do With This Data
- Operate, secure, and improve the website
- Route a submitted query to the applicable independent search provider
- Measure page use and identify information that may need improvement
- Diagnose service and performance problems
- Display advertising that may be relevant to a visitor
No Court-Record Data on File
Moniteau County Court Docket does not host, keep, compile, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case records. This website provides general guidance about public access routes for Moniteau County, including Missouri Case.net, the Moniteau County Circuit Clerk, and the Missouri Circuit Court, 26th Judicial Circuit. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or files about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search boxes on this site. Information submitted through those tools is handled under the provider's own privacy policy rather than this policy. Those providers control their retention and sharing practices, so review the applicable policy before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
Our pages link to resources such as the Moniteau County Circuit Clerk, Missouri Case.net, Missouri Courts materials, legal-aid organizations, and independent search tools. A link takes you to a website we do not operate, where that site's privacy terms govern any information you provide.
Advertising partners may also collect information across websites to deliver interest-based advertising. That activity occurs under their own systems and policies.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Information may be received by the following parties when needed for the services described here:
- Independent search providers that process a query you submit
- Analytics providers used to assess traffic and site performance
- Advertising networks that serve advertisements on the site
- Government or law-enforcement entities when a valid legal order requires disclosure
How We Protect Your Data
We use reasonable security practices for the information we collect. Internet transmission and storage cannot be made completely risk-free, however, so we cannot promise that an unauthorized access incident will never occur.
Users Under 18
This website is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from people under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact us so we can address the request.
Your Data Rights
Missouri judicial-record access is governed by Missouri Court Operating Rule 2 and Court Operating Rule 4, not by a generic Missouri website-privacy statute. Those rules generally allow public inspection of judicial records subject to statutes, court rules, and orders that restrict access. Missouri's Sunshine Law provisions, including RSMo § 610.011, RSMo § 610.023, and RSMo § 610.026, state the public-record policy, request procedure, and fee rules for governmental records but do not displace court-access limits. For example, records covered by an expungement order under RSMo § 610.140 and generally confidential juvenile proceedings under RSMo § 211.321 remain subject to their own access limits. For information we hold about a visitor, you may:
- Request a copy of the information we maintain about you
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate
- Request deletion of information we retain, subject to lawful obligations
- Ask about and opt out of certain data-processing practices where applicable
Updates to This Policy
We may revise this policy from time to time. A revised version will be posted here with a new effective date, so visitors who want current details should review this page periodically.
Effective date: August 29, 2026
